Mr. Thankappan has been practicing intellectual property law for over 10 years with a focus on patent prosecution in a broad range of technologies. He has written and prosecuted applications directed to: computer hardware and software, memory design, oilfield operations, storage systems, digital and analog signal processing, database management, wireless systems, and seismic data acquisition.
Mr. Thankappan received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Thankappan received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Eta Kappa Nu electrical engineering honor society.
